Most of my day goes at a laptop in one corner of the living room, somewhere in between packing school lunches and joining work calls while my toddler is asking for juice in the background. I am a mother of two, and my husband is much more patient than me. I have been working from home long enough to know how much a small mouse that is not behaving properly can spoil an otherwise normal day.

Now the reason I made this mouse test site is quite simple. One day my old mouse started double clicking on its own and the wheel was skipping scroll notches also. And at approx 10 pm after a long day I was not sure if its the mouse or my tired hands. When I searched online to find out the solution, most of the sites were either covered with ads or made for gamers who talk about DPI numbers which I never understood. So I wanted one simple and honest tool that just tells me what my buttons and wheel are doing.

So I decided to solve this issue and finally I made this myself, mostly in small time slots after the kids went to sleep. I have kept it small on purpose, there is no sign-up, no data collection and nothing goes to any server. Whenever I get a free hour between school runs and paid client work I add a new test or fix something, and some weeks that hour comes more than others.
